Collaborating on Homelessness Research with Community
Stakeholders in San Diego
Hosted by the Center for Human Dynamics in the Mobile Age (HDMA), San Diego State University
The PI and Co-PI in this NSF project will invite 31 stakeholders and researchers to a collaborative Summer Workshop 2026 on Homelessness and Health Equity (SDHEART), bringing together professionals from across San Diego County, including city officials, university researchers, nonprofit leaders, and major homelessness service organizations.
This event will provide opportunities to:
● Share current research and outreach initiatives on homeless studies
● Gather feedback from community stakeholders in San Diego
● Network and collaboration on innovative, data-driven solutions
● Help shape regional strategies to address homelessness
